I went to my first collegiate baseball game yesterday (otherwise known as the first baseball game I went to that didn’t involve Little Leaguers). This is really crappy video, as I was trying to capture what was supposed to the winning hit for either team, but it was taking too long so I stopped filming. If you listen really close, you can hear me ask Krystle’s boyfriend, “Who’s Marla Hooch?” The hecklers in front of us were yelling it at the same heavier-set player the whole game, and coincidence would have it, his time on bat would decide the fate of both teams.

I was told Marla Hooch is the heavy-set player (the one who couldn’t run fast) in the movie A League of their Own.

I spent a good portion of the game not knowing what the hell SJSU stood for, which is why I think Hawaii won. YAY!
